Learning
Learning at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ is a journey that begins in Foundation and continues through to Year 12. Guided by Islamic values and supported by dedicated teachers, students develop the knowledge, confidence and character to thrive at school and beyond.
The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Learning Experience
Learning at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ is built on the belief that every stage of a student’s education should prepare them for the next. From Foundation to Year 12, students are supported through a structured learning journey that develops knowledge, strengthens Islamic character and builds the confidence to embrace new challenges. This journey is shaped by three areas of focus that guide teaching and learning across the College. Together, they create an environment where students are supported academically, personally and spiritually while preparing for the opportunities that lie ahead.
Primary Learning
Primary School is where lifelong habits of learning begin. From Foundation to Year 6, students build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and Islamic learning within an environment where they are known, supported and encouraged to grow with confidence.
Learning is carefully planned to meet the needs of each stage of development, combining strong classroom teaching with opportunities to explore, question and apply new knowledge. Alongside academic growth, students strengthen their character, develop positive relationships and build the confidence to embrace new challenges. By the time they transition to Secondary School, they are equipped with the knowledge, skills and independence needed for the next stage of their education.
Secondary Learning
Secondary School challenges students to deepen their knowledge, think independently and take greater ownership of their learning. As students progress through Years 7 to 12, increasing subject choice, specialist teaching and personalised support allow them to discover their strengths while preparing for life beyond school.
Students are guided through a clear progression from the transition into Year 7, through subject exploration in Years 9 and 10, and into senior secondary pathways that reflect their interests, aspirations and future goals. Whether pursuing VCE, DEEP & VCE VM, SAP & IB, or the Diploma of Islamic Leadership alongside VCE, every pathway is supported by high expectations, dedicated staff and a commitment to helping every student succeed.
Pathways That Reflect Every Student
As students move into their senior years, learning becomes increasingly personalised. ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ offers a range of pathways that recognise different strengths, interests and aspirations, allowing every student to pursue an education that aligns with their future goals. Whether students are preparing for university, vocational training or faith-based leadership, each pathway provides the knowledge, support and opportunities to succeed.
